Dry inflamed throat is it HIV?

I had unprotected vaginal sex and oral sex. 4 days later my throat was dry... mild soreness. 12 days after sex my throat is inflamed I can see a reddish/slight white bump on the back of my throat. No fever ... my throat is still very dry. It’s been over a week now. Negative for strep.,my throat is kind of sore but not painful. It feel more dry and I can feel like there is something in my throat when I swallow but it doesn’t bother me that much. I would say it’s a combination of dry/sore throat. Is this an Early sign of hiv ?

People cough on your lips and door knobs so sore throat is to be expected at any time. You can't isolate it and say it is proven to be hiv so forget about it and do a duo test after 4 weeks for a conclusive result. Try to relax until then, because nothing is pointing toward you having hiv and only a test can provide answers.

I get that but my throat is inflamed I can see it.  If my throat is dry and kind of sore for more than a week. What could it be? Yea doesn’t help. If a person has hiv do they get all the ars Symptoms at once or can you get just a sore dry throat alone and still have hiv ?
HIV docs can't diagnose hiv from symptoms and neither can you nor I, so stop beating yourself up worrying about it because it is a waste of time. Try to relax for 16 more days until you can test. Oral is zero risk anyway, and male has a hard time getting it from vaginal so that is what I would focus on instead.
