ECLIA

Hi,
I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend many times, later after breaking up i came to know that she is HIV+. I took a test at 4 Weeks of last intercourse, it was ELISA and came out negative. The next test i took was after 6 months which was ECLIA, which again came as negative. I still have a fear if the results are accurate or not. Please help

3 months is conclusive, so your 6 month test proves you don't have HIV.

Well if you have a conclusive negative test then of course you did not get infected.
