ELISA tests

Dear Doctor

I am a young woman married. My Husband and I have been faithfully since we got married  the last 6 yrs and we did have first kid 3 years ago and we always go for HIV test every now and then and my husband do donate the blood and he did just in September 2013. We are faithfully to each other and I am pregnant with the second child and never cheated to my husband nor my husband cheated to me as we do communicate and trust each other. I am 12 weeks and just tested for HIV and the Doctor said the results shows that I am HIV positive ( HIV type I and II (Ab & p24 Ag)  Reactive. and then the statement said "Serological findings of the above patient indicates a reactive ELISA test for HIV, This results should be regarded as a screening test and an HIV viral infection requires positive results on two samples of blood collected independently"

Doctor my Husband adnd I, we are totally confused and disturbed and frustrated by this news as we know each other well and no doubt in our marriage. We both never cheat and will never cheat.

What should we believe in this case, Should we do another test as we total don't believe this results. We don't want to live in denial and transmit HIV to our second kid if this is true.

Can it happen that the results are False positive, Should we trust ELISA method? is the any other method we can used for confirmation as now this is really bad news to our life and living a good and trusted life and now where does the HIV comes from as both of us we are living faithfully life. Kindly help us so that we accept or not.

We total don't believe the results and this is affecting our pregnancy as we cannot accept this. If later we find its a false results, how then we must trust this Doctor as maybe many family or people are suffering because of wrong method of results.

Waiting for your answer.
