Exposure to HIV after sex with hiv+ person on PrEp

I'm not sure what to do. I am a gay male in good health. Earlier this evening I had unprotected sex with someone who is hiv positive. He informed me of this after the fact. I was the top, he the bottom and I ejaculated inside of him. Afterwards he told me he was hiv positive but had an indictable viral load due to being on PREP. After I left and went home I noticed an abrasion on my pension from the friction of sex. Went into the ER and I was prescribed two antiviral medications that I can't even afford because I don't have insurance. Since I was the top and the abrasion isn't bleeding, what is the likelihood that I am going to contract the virus? Like I said, I can't afford the medications and the hospital gave me a community card that brought the cost down from &2500 to $2000. I called back to see if there was more they could do and they said there wasn't. Help!

U should visit an hiv/aids consultation. Maybe they can help you to get the PEP. What kind of ********* is having unprotected sex while knowing he got HIV...
Always use a condom!

Well an undetectable viral load is good, but you still run the risk. We try to stress condoms here because this is an example of how HIV is still transmitted these days.
Seek a Dr to talk to about PEP.

I'm was place in the same situation 6 months zig with someone known hiv positive . I don't know the likelihood of you becoming positive , but what I've gathered you have within 72  hours to seek medical treatment. I'll say a prayer for you and hope all the best . If the antiviral medication isn't access to you, personally I would go and establish a baseline test. Then again at six weeks  and three months. In the meanwhile avoid having any other exposures while then that would place you at increase risk. Stay strong and don't give up things always work out in the end. Read my post !
