Fingering with open cuts!!!

Dear Doctor,

By 20-sep-2010 i fingered a prostitute with unknown status of hiv later i noticed a fresh cut on my index finger after 5 minutes. By 10-oct -2010 i had rashes over my shoulders and i am very much scared about my hiv status i thought if i got hiv means i will be committing suicide and please help me wat i ahve to do now?whether i got hiv by this ?how can i know about my status? Many sites says no documented case by fingering but in wiki answers.com one person replied got hiv by fingering.

anyone please help me.,

Thank you.,

dont come here speaking of suicide...it is very disrespectful to those of us here who have hiv / aids or have a loved one who does.

hiv can only infect a very few, very specific types of cells. these cells are not found in your finger. if you had a cut on your finger larger enough, open enough and bleeding enough to be a real pathway to cells that hiv CAN infect, believe me, you wouldn't be sticking it into some woman's vagina.
