Folliculitis Rash

Hi, I was diagnosed with Folliculitis Rash on my body 7 weeks after I had unportected sex. would this be simialr to the ARS Rash. I had a sore throat a few weeks before that and a six week negative. The rash is a little itchy and irritating and is all over my sides, pelvis, and mopving onto my legs.

Yeah chill out. Rashes have been around you many years before HIV was around and rashes will still be around even after HIV is eradicated.

OKay, thanks, I had jsut read that Rash can be a symptom of HIV. My anxiety is not a factor as I was not at all worried until the Rash showed up and I looked it up and went to the doc. The doc did not ask anything of my sexual history.

let us know your result.  6 week test is a good indicator you're ok

It can be only attributed to anxiety. Yes, you heard me right - Anxiety. Anxiety can certainly cause skin lesions.

Your 6 weeks negative is certainly a strong indicator and only suggest another negative going ahead at the 12th week

Good luck

6 week negative along with a diagnosis of soemthing other than HIV would seem to say you dont have HIV.
