For Peace of Mind, Should I Test?

Doctor:

First, thank you very much for the valuable service you provide. My situation is similiar to other posts I have read on your forum, but I wanted to provide my specifics for my own peace of mind.

Like so many other posters, I made a big mistake after a day of too much drinking. On 07 October I had an encounter with a black CSW in Atlanta as follows:

> gave unprotected cunnilingus for ~ 10 minutes including "dipping' my tongue into her vagina
> received unprotected oral sex from her for a few minutes but did not ejaculate
> had protected vaginal sex (condom did not break)

Additional info:

> the CSW had multiple piercings and tatoos, but no way to know how recent they were
> don't believe I had any cuts or open sores in my mouth
> did not see any obvious sores on her genitals or mouth
> coincidentally, took Zithromax (500mg each day) on October 09th, 10th and 11th to treat bronchitis

It has been 34 days since the encounter and would like to know what my risks are for HIV or other STDs and if I should be tested. The only health concerns I've noticed since the encounter are as follows:

> for the 3 days after the encounter, the skin around my mouth was red and dry (possibly due to "acidic" vaginal secretions?)
> developed 6 small raised bumps inside my elbow about 10 days ago (spread across 2 inches) - they did not itch and almost look like flea bites - they have faded some now but are still visible
> I've been fighting what appears to be a mild cold - sinus congestion and coughing up yellowish mucus, glands slightly swollen and tender under the arms and in the groin, but no fever or diarrhea - for about a week

For my own peace of mind should I test for HIV? Would taking the Zithromax for bronchitis as I did address any other potential STDs?

Thanks again for your time and service.

Hi there,

None of this.............

"> gave unprotected cunnilingus for ~ 10 minutes including "dipping' my tongue into her vagina
> received unprotected oral sex from her for a few minutes but did not ejaculate
> had protected vaginal sex (condom did not break) "

Constitutes a risk of HIV.

Increases that risk.

Regards Kevin.
