Kissing is not a risk even if  there is bleeding gums or you just brushed and flossed your teeth.

Hi, Do you know if the cuts on my gums are considered open cuts? I kissed him about 3 hours after flossing and am not sure if the gums heal quickly after flossing or not

You're not 100% sure that there was blood in his mouth. You can only get HIV if the person is infected with it and if you have to have an open cut in your mouth. If you want to get checked than here's a note: It takes 3 months for the virius to show up in a blood test. If you get checked now, then it'll come out negative.
