French kiss with ulcer on lips and probably gum bleeding in the other person's mouth

I'm from Japan and i know this might be a question similar to the others, but i would be appreciate if you can offer an answer to my specific situation.

I french kissed a gay man whom i do not know his HIV status, at that time i had a ulcer on my lips which hurts a bit, my kind of worry is what if that person happened to have a gum bleeding at that time? (I didn't taste obvius blood though, otherwise i won't have kissed him for long time) but if he did, would the blood in his mouth transmit the HIV virus THROUGH THE ULCER ON MY LIPS?

According to the doctors in my country (which i think may be a little conservative) there is a "little" risk.

I know HIV is not transmit by kissing, but isn't it more like a transmission by blood, would you describe that as a ZERO risk case?(because there isn't enough blood?) and do i need to get test for that?

Thank you for reading my question.

By "progressive country" I do refer to America and Japan. Essentially any country that is not considered "third world."

This website is based in the US but we follow the guidelines of all renowned institutions and researchers worldwide.

The advice I have given you is held by thousands of HIV specialists from many countries, including the US.

Oral sex is not a risk for HIV even with small ulcers and POSSIBLE bleeding gums. Human saliva contains bacteria and enzymes that render the virus inactive. Air also renders the virus inactive which is abundant in the mouth as well.

Doctors in most progressive countries believe there IS a small risk of HIV from kissing, but they need to expand on that by explaining that both partners would have to have massive open wounds that are gushing blood to pose a risk of transmission........and one of those partners would have to be HIV+

I stand by my assessment that you had no risk and do not need to test.

Thank you for your reply, it helps a lot!
One more question: does "progressive country" you refer to include America? How do American doctors or experts think about the chance of getting hiv by kissing under such circumstances?
