I'm sorry, I'm just extremely worried I'll test positive from my tattoo.

ALSO. One last thing, my tattoo WAS infected but it was most likely due to poor aftercare. Is this something to worry about?
Also, with regards to the tests ... I'm in the US does this info still apply? (it's based on the uk)
Thanks, so my risk is zero? I looked up the shop online and they listed sterilization as a procedure. Also, if they got shut down for health problems, that would def be on the news, right? I'm so sorry I'm so obsessive I have a phobia and I'm continuing counseling.

Thanks but nobody is answering my 6 week question ...
You didn't contract HIV from a tattoo. Test ONLY IF you've had unprotected vaginal/anal sex or shared needles for injecting IV drugs.
I understand my risk is no risk but what about the 6 week result?

It went out of business which worries me
more :( one last question (thanks soooo much for your tome) with my 6.5 wk test can I be more assured?
You didn't get a tattoo right after someone else. If you are concern contact the tattoo studio.
Sorry, I'm not trying to be obsessive just questioning. What do you mean if they weren't sterilized? What if theoretically the person before
me was positive and the same equipment was used on me? It's doubtful this happened, just concerned as to why.
Even if the needles weren't sterilized.
CDC knows of no instances of HIV transmission through tattooing or body piercing, although hepatitis B virus has been transmitted during some of these practices.
Even if the parts weren't sterilized?
Zero. You were already told that you didn't have a risk of contracting HIV from a tattoo.
