My blood report says positive but i dont have any symptoms.

given the "lack of" risks that you have described...you more than likely got a false positive result...UNLESS your husband gave you hiv.

a western blot will confirm whether or not you are infected.

You don't need to have any symptoms. Has your husband tested? You are not positive until you get the results back from the western blot test.

I had unprotected sex with my husband many a times in past several years. But I do not have even a single symptom of HIV AIDS. Our relation is since 4 years but neither he nor i are suffering with any symptoms. pl guide

I simply conducted this test as I was getting married. Yes, I had unprotected sex with my husband many a times in past several years. But I do not have even a singlesymptom of HIV AIDS

Q: What were some risks that you had that could have exposued you to HIV?
Ans: I don’t know. Many hospitals in India use recycled needles.

Q: When did you test for HIV?
Ans: This Monday I gave my blood. The test name is Fully automated micro ELISA. Got report today saying: Initially Reactive.
Q: Do you have a confirmation western blot positve test or just an antibody test?
Ans: NO. For that test I gave my blood today. Will get report on Saturday
