HIV/AIDS

I had a concern about catching the virus from oral sex and of genitals rubbing. I engaged in oral sex but with no ejaculation..does that lower my chances? My encounter happened over a yr ago but it's been a slight bug in my ear and I have read symptoms can take awhile to appear. Also with the rubbing there was no penetration and ejaculation occurred but on my pubic hair. What are the chances of catching this virus in the circumstances of what I've described?

You thought wrong. HIV is not transmitted by oral even if you have cuts or ulcers. Saliva contains over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibits HIV transmission.

I thought with open cuts or freshly brushed teeth it can spread. I thought the virus could somehow get thru.
