HIV DUO (VIDAS) -NOT DETERMINABLE- after 5 months. Please help!

Hello guys. After unprotected insertive vaginal sex I took some HIV DUO VIDAS ULTRA assay tests (not available in the US), these tests differentiate antigens and antibodies in different signals.

1st month results:

Index of antibody: 0.02

Index of p24 antigen: 0.01

Threshold and interpretation of result:
Index i interpretation
i0.25 Reactive for Antigen (P24) Or Antibody

2nd month follow up:

Index of antibody: 0.02

Index of p24 antigen: 0.02

Threshold and interpretation of result:
Index i interpretation
i0.25 Reactive for Antigen (P24) Or Antibody

3rd month follow up:

Index of antibody: 0.05

Index of p24 antigen: 0.02

Threshold and interpretation of result:
Index i interpretation
i0.25 Reactive for Antigen (P24) Or Antibody

5th month follow up:

Index of antibody: 0.04

Index of p24 antigen: ND -NOT DETERMINABLE-

Threshold and interpretation of result:
Index i interpretation
i0.25 Reactive for Antigen (P24) Or Antibody

COMMENT:
The kit simultaneously detects:
i)HIV-1 antibodies (lgG & lgM class of sub-type O & gp41) and HIV-2 antibodies (lgG class of gp36)
ii) P24 antigen
*The test aims to reduce the window period and picks the patient in very early stage.
Note: High Antibody level may mask the antigen result and vice versa. The test value is not displayed for the masked result and the message ND - NOT DETERMINABLE appears in the result.

I was moving on my life because of the 3 first negatives results but when the 5 months results came out, the HIV anxiety freaked me out again.

As it's said above and as my understanding, a NOT DETERMINABLE results means that the component (antibody or antigen) is very high reactive. Please, I don't believe it, this means that I'm HIV+, why didn't I came out positive before? Delayed seroconversion?

It makes a little sense because I've had symptoms (fever, recurring yeast infections in my mouth, etc...)

Please, Does someone know about this assay? I wish it could be an error.

Thank you all. Happy holidays.

You WAY over-tested, and not surprisingly, got a false "indeterminate" reading.  You don't have HIV.  All of your previous tests prove that. You didn't suddenly turn positive after 5 months.  This is the danger of overtesting, and why it isn't recommended, particularly for anxious people.

What was your original risk, out of curiosity?

My risk was just unprotected vaginal sex.
OK.  Well, you should stop testing and move on from this event.  Your previous tests were conclusive.  You don't have HIV.
Ok. Got it. So, can I have unprotected sex with a regular monogamous partner?

Can hypothyroidism make HIV-antibody tests unreliable (i.e. delayed seroconversion)?

Thank you so much.
NO.  Nothing apart from serious chemotherapy can delay, and even then it's not certain. Forget about this event and move on.  You don't have HIV.  There is no more information that we can give you.
