HIV Infection From Oral with shemale

I had oral sex with a sex worker, and ejaculated in her mouth. I did not use a condom (i know, stupid thing to do). But she did assure me she does tests every 6 months (This is in Europe), and assured me she is clean. Reading on the web, it mentioned something about having flu symptoms and soar throat. I got those symptoms after 2 days of the encounter.  So my question:

- Is it possible to get symptoms after 2 days? as i mentioned , i am having a sore throat and blocked nose etc, which seems to be a normal cold, and could be due to the fact i was traveling 2 days before

- I read that the danger from HIV transmission risk is low when it comes to oral sex (some say 0.04% /exposure), how true is that?

- If i am carrying an infection (which statistically is very low when it comes to oral sex), would it be better not to have sex anymore till i get a blood test after 3 months?

- Talking about the risks from oral sex, is there any study that shows the risk of infection on the male receiving oral sex (passive), just as a note here, in my case i am circumcised and do not have any cuts or pimples etc on my Penis (that i know of).

-Finally, is there a difference in the risk of getting infected from a male or a female?

Well you're still pretty ignorant. You don't need testing. If you had, had a risk you would have only needed to test 3 months post exposure. You would never need to test out to 12 months.

Thnx for your reply. Cause i was bit confused about the timining of the symptoms. But i guess it would be a good practice to have a test at 3-6 and 12 months, just to be sure :). And lesson learned i guess, no more sex out of marriage hehe.

I was pretty ignorant about HIV and AIDS before this incident, but now i know much more about this Virus. Whish you all the best (read your profile), and my hat off to you.

Cheers

1. You were never at risk from getting a blow job.
2. had you had a risk your symptoms came on to quick to be related to ARS.
3. No HIV can't tell if a person is male or female.
