HIV Oraquick home test at 6 months

Hello, I decided to get a test done at 6 months past my possible exposure. I don’t remember if a condom was used, so I decided to get tested just to be safe. All my other std tests have been negative so I decided to take an hiv test. The last exposure was vaginal intercourse. I bought the oraquick and followed the instructions but i realized that I accidentally slightly touched the test pad with my finger. Could this alter my test results? I ran the test and read it at 20 mins and 36 mins and it was negative. Should I still be concerned or should I retake another since it was slightly tampered with?

You had no risk. You are suffering from anxiety. If you had been on risk you would have not been here questioning about memory.Move on .

You have multiple posts and each time has a different version, you stated the last time you had a condom protected intercourse, then you   said once that your exposure was due to unprotected intercourse and today you are claiming to not remember whether you used a condom!

What's going on?

I just can’t remember completely. It was with a guy I used to date and we always typically wore condoms but my memory is failing. This last time was back in January.
I do apologize but I have terrible memory and I can’t remember exactly what happened.
If you don't follow the instructions you won't get a useful test. If you don't have a useful test then test again.
You wrote "Both oraquicks at 12 and 13 weeks were negative and I made sure to do these correct and waited the allotted time 20-40 mins. Should I continue to worry...?"
1 No.
2 Move on from hiv theories instead of continuing to test because it is abnormal to test repeatedly for the same thing you are negative for. Your further testing indicates hiv phobia or some other kind of mental health issue that requires a therapist to help out with in a one on one situation.
3 Your problem is not disease, it is fear of disease but since this is just an hiv prevention forum (and you don't have hiv) there is nothing we can do here to help.
Okay, thank you for your time and insight. I apologize for all of this and i will be moving on now.
