how real is risk?

Hello, I am terrified of a possible infection due to the following encounter.  Am I at risk of hiv infection?  I visited a massage parlor on Nov 11 and the girl started by putting a condom on me.  She started by doing oral with the condom.  She was kind of rough and kind of hurt me.  She then got on top reverse cowgirl and was on top less than a minute.  My fear is the following.  As I inserted my penis into her, I heard a small pop, or friction sound.  I was only inside her for maybe 30-45 seconds due to my fear of hearing that sound.  I was moving her slowly and the condom was still on.  I told her it was hard for me to go with a condom, really only to get her off me because I was freaked out by the sound I heard.  She masturbation me with the condom on, and I did not notice it was broken.  Maybe a small hole was the source of the popping sound?  Anyways, she then asked to finish me with her hand and no condom.  I allowed her to.  6 days later (Nov 17) I developed really bad diarreah.   However, I was on a vacation in Central America for 2 days at is point  I thought maybe it was the food, or water.  I had diarreah for 3 days, and finally went to see a doctor.  She gave me medicine and the diarreah stopped.  I was back to having normal stools.  11 days later Nov 24th, I developed diarreah again.  I have had it for a week now.  Also, after the diarreah started up again I began getting what look live hives.  They started on my knees, elbow, inside of my bicep.  They last approx 1 hour and go away.  They itch when they appear, but after 20 minutes they no longer itch.  They look kind of like mosquito bites.  Sometimes they come back at night for another hour.  My back and chest are smooth, and no rash or hives there.  No other symptoms other than diarreah, and hives.  What are the chances the condom tore, and neither myself, or the massuse noticed when she was finishing me off with her hand?  Would I notice the condom tear, or would it be not noticeable?  Please advise on my risk, and if the symptoms resemble ARS symptoms.  Also, some clarification on the ARS rash.  Does it appear like hives?  Does it go away day to day and return only for an hour at a time when it reappears?  I feel like I am losing my mind, and am scared to test.  Are my fears warranted?  Please advise as the encounter and the symptoms have me convinced of the worst.  Thanks in advance.

Vance, I tried to start another thread but it won't allow me. I have a concerning question for you.

Thanks for the response Chima7.  I guess the fear is since I did not check the condom, and the symptoms that came on after the encounter.   It could be coincidence, but I will try to relax. This morning I woke up with slight sweating.  It freaked me out.  But I am at almost 8 weeks since the exposure.  Wouldn't ARS be over by now, if that's what I was experiencing?

It's not likely at all for you to get a positive because you had no risk and didn't need to test. Condoms make noise during sex, everyone knows this. It didn't break. You're fine and need to stop obsessing about this.

Quick update and followup question.   I had a rapid finger prickly test done at 7 weeks exactly, and it was negative.  However, the lady said a 13 week test is needed.  She said she has seen 7 week negative results, turn positive at 13 weeks.  That freaked me out.  How likely is it that my negative result changes?

We don't speak of symptoms.

So if you were in my shoes, you would not test, regardless of the symptoms  and their timing?

Irrelevant to your situation.

Impossible not to see a hole. You had no risk.

Thanks for responding.  How long would ARS symptoms last if someone were to get them?

You never had a risk for HIV - symptoms are unreliable and may be caused by many things in your case most likely stress and anxiety. Take a few breaths and move on, you are fine

If the condom did pop and had a hole, which I could not see or confirm, would I still have no risk?  That's my fear.  The popping sound I heard.  Would a condom break be that obvious?  Also, how to explain the diarreah  that has lasted a week?

Hey man, well, condoms doesnt leak, and doesnt get any small holes, when they break, they break and its pretty much noticeable, trust me, so yeah, dont worry about that, maybe the popping sound was somebody opening a beer in other room and you freaked, Lol, you didn't have a risk at all, your 30-45 seconds vaginal intercourse were protected so you don't even have to test for HIV, your symptoms means nothing, relax, you are fine.

Thanks for the response.  I'm trying but the hives really added to the fear.  Never before have I had them.  The timing of the diarreah and the hives seem too much coincidence.  Don't you think?
