HIV RISK LEVEL

Hi Dr. Hunter/Edward,

I have a few questions. Back in the beginning of April this year I was staying with my girlfriend. Turns out one of her friends came over with her friend who we found out has HIV. He used our bathroom, now I am nervous for a few reasons. Let's say when he was in the bathroom he used one of our toothbrushes or razors, or masturbated, or bled would we be exposed by then using our bathroom, razors or toothbrush? He seemed like a nice guy who wouldn't do this, but you never know. I actually moved out for unrelated reasons in the beginning of May. Also before we knew he was HIV positive my girlfriend shared a drink with him and her friend. Since then me and my girlfriend have had unprotected oral sex, deep kissing, protected sex, and 1 unprotected sex encounter which was 6 weeks ago and lasted for a few seconds. I was tested for HIV 1 and 2 about a week and a half ago, 4 months after this guy visited our apartment and 6 weeks after me and my girlfriend had unprotected sex. I was negative. Were me and my girlfriend at risk of HIV from this assuming for the sake of it that all these things did happen. Do we need to get tested more?

Also could our things in the apartment have been contaminated, should I throw out my clothes, suitcase and stuff?
