HIV RNA and 4th gen test accuracy at 28 days
Hi,
I had a potential exposure where I did use the condom but now I'm very afraid thinking of possible HIV infection. At 27 days I did HIV RNA test and it came negative. On the 29th day, I did HIV 4th gen test along with all STD test where everything came negative.
However, I have red rashes over chest and acne on forehead. Is the results are accurate or I need to do further testing

You used a condom so you had no risk. You have no medical training so need to accept the 40 year old HIV science instead of questioning it - with no scientific background that doesn't make sense.
Anyone can get acne and rashes so that proved nothing. TIme to move on but if the rashes bother you see your doc.

Hi, I still have red acne and rash on chest, Can any one help me, it's been 6 weeks, Will HIV symptoms occur at 6 week ?
