HIV Scare

On sept. 27th of '09  I was on vacation and had unprotected sex . Around that time though I was extremely sick... when I got back home I was still really sick with a runny nose, congestion, sore throat,  a severe cough, etc. This "cold" lasted for about 2 months. I am a high risk person for HIV because I contracted the herpes virus 3 yrs ago. Around the end of Nov./ beginning of Dec., I had my first recurrent outbreak. The outbreak finally cleared about 1 1/2weeks later. I finally felt like I was better and my nasty cough went away. Then I discovered a weird tiny rash on  the inner corner of my eyelid around Dec. 21st. There is no discoloration or bumps and hardly noticeable, but I can feel the difference in the skin texture. About 2 days later I noticed a weird rash on the left side of my torso, a little bit below the hip. Its medium sized, non itchy , raised and reddish/purple in color. I am extremely stressed and freaked out i might have HIV. I have had weird raised patches on my right leg since i was small, but none have ever been this dark in color.  I also did not have a fever or swollen lymph nodes in my neck. However I do have swollen lymph nodes in my pelvic region, but those have developed after my initial herpes outbreak and have never went away. Can someone please tell me if this is a symptom of HIV

Symptoms don't matter when it comes to HIV. The symptoms commonly occur in every day life and people only recognize them when they think they have HIV.
You have had a risk and need to get a test. That's all.

You can never use symptoms. Test now for a conclusive result.
