In August I had unprotected oral sex (mutual) and protected vaginal intercourse. Two days later I had a scatchy throat, and the next day (3 days after incident) I had a fever (took tylenol to help-lasted 2 days), severe sore throat (lasted 2 days), and night sweats (one night). One tonsil stayed enlarged after the fever/sore throat. At week five I tested negative for HIV. In mid November I had the enlarged tonsil removed. All pathalogy reports came back normal. Also, this could be paranoria, but I have occassional tenderness under my arm and tender breasts. the tenderness comes and goes, never lasts more that a day. most recently, i'm experiencing s ingle incident of tenderness on the back of my thigh. oh, there has been some contipation and hemrroidal flare up too...nothing consistent though, and it's been after bouts of various antibiotics and hydrocodone (for tonsil pain relief post surgery). anyway,i'm just curious if after my negative hiv test @ 5 weeks and tonsillectomy with normal pathology reports @ 16 weeks post incident if this sounds to be HIV related?
