HIV and oral sex risk

I recently performed oral on a man that swore that he was clean and tested. And he ejaculated a little in my mouth and also on my face and even some in my eye. I freaked out afterward and when I asked him when he got tested, and where and if he could show me his papers he had no answer. Now I'm really freaking out because he's been to foreign countries before and I know he has also engaged in anal sex with women. I also had a small canker sore in my mouth. How likely is it to contract HIV from getting semen in the mouth or eye? Should I contact my doctor about getting PEP?

Hi there.

Oral sex carries no risk of HIV, there is not one solidly proven case globally.

I doubt you would find anywhere that would prescribe pep based on the above.

HIV is spread through unprotected Anal / Vaginal sex, sharing needles and mother to child, not oral sex.

Best Wishes

really low risk here, PEP is most likely going overboard. ultimately, go for the PEP if you feel so uncomfortable.
