That seems to get my anxiety levels low for tonight. Seems like every week or so for a month a new set of symtoms occurs. For instance the past week its been my neck and back being sore as well as what I think may be a rash on my back and itching on my scalp. Also constant headache throughout the days (i work with children so that may be a reason for that as well as the neck pain) . Im a mess and really cant wait till I get tested. But as far as that symptom they say that makes you feel like you dont feel well over all?? Ive been feeling that way eversince the first day after possible initial exposure!! Depression and stess is what Id like to call it! Im tring to get tested this comming Friday which will be just shy of 8 weeks post exposure.eeek.=o

If one has ARS they appear 2-4 weeks post exposure and last 1-2 weeks. Symptoms come on all at once and leave all at once.

I don,t know what your exposure was but if it was a risk then you need to test like you said you were going to do.Only a test result can provide the answers your looking for.Symptoms are to vague and unreliable. At 3 months post-exposure you will receive your conclusive result.

Could the 'rash' come after being sick with the 'flu like symptoms'? Say, nearly 2-3 weeks after?... I got sick with what seems to have been 'flu like symptoms'  about 17days after initial possible exposure. The flu like symptoms lasted nearly 3 weeks including mild sore throat. About 2 and a half weeks after the flu like symptoms stage, I noticed acne looking marks on my back ribcage. Some of the marks hurt like pimples and some didnt, some had white heads and the smaller ones didnt. I felt  itching on my scalp and started searching for the souce through my hair and noticed a red single blemish on the top of my head. I do feel itchy around the back of my head, today (nearly 7 1/2 weeks after initial exposure) and cant see if I have any marks or rashes on my head. Also I did have a single red blemish/open rash on my upper buttock that looked like a very small ring worm and it was painful but its healing up now.  I may plan to get tested in the next couple days but I may wait another month for a conclusive result. Im really stressed to the max about this. Hope its negative.

ARS symptoms appear 2 to 4 weeks after infection and last about 4 days to 2 weeks, they don,t come and go.They include very sore throat, very high fever and rash on trunk-torso and limbs which doesn,t itch. However, symptoms don,t diagnose hiv only and hiv test can do that. All the best.
