HIV paranoia/anxiety

I had sex with a guy a few weeks ago unprotected. Afterwards I found out that he had been unprotected a few days before with another girl but insisted that she had told him she was clear of any STIs. I immediately went to get tested and was told to come back because it was too soon but in the time up to being allowed to be tested I decided to Google STDs and made my self paranoid of HIV to the point that a doctor has told me when being tested that I'm too low risk for to test for HIV from the infomration I gave him but was tested for other STDs and even though he talked to me about it I'm still scared I have it and don't know I have it because I don't have symptoms. I'm not sure what to do can anyone give advice

how long after your exposure did you test? I'm sure your Dr is basing that on most people not have HIV. Unfortunately, unprotected sex is a risk for HIV, a 4th gen test will be conclusive at 4 weeks, all others at 12 weeks. symptoms should not be used to diagnose
HIV.

I went to test at 4 weeks the doctor then asked me a series of questions relating to my sexual history and from there he said I was too low risk to need one
Oral, anal or vaginal?
By the way, there is nothing useful on Google for diagnostics because only a test can provide answers, so it is best to stop looking because the more you Google and get no answers, the more anxious you will become.
Vaginal sex. That was the only thing in the list of questions I was asked that I was able to answer yes to part of me is thinking that may be why he belivies I'm too low risk and this is only the 2nd person I have had sex with.
Unless there is a communication issue, there was a risk that requires a test. If you can't get one from a clinic, then wait for 12 weeks and do any test yourself because those kinds are conclusive at 12 weeks.
Try to relax until you can test, stop Googling and examining your body cold turkey because that is a total anxiety producing event that can't provide the answer that a test can.
How many sexual partners you've had in the past does not matter, if you had unprotected vaginal intercourse, that is one of the ways HIV can be transmitted. Was the dr. at a clinic or your family Dr? I'm no Dr, but if it was a Dr. at a clinic, not testing seems like an odd choice to me.
