Am I at risk?

Hi,

I went to a pub, got tipsy and did some stuff.

I hugged a pub girl. She gave me a peck on my lips, no french kiss though. I touched her beneath her clothes. She did the same to me. However there was no direct skin to genitals contact as we kept our hands to upper body only.

I licked her nipples for a brief moment. I cannot be sure whether she was lactating or had any vaginal fluids/ semen/ saliva from previous customers on her breast/nipples. However i doubt that she was lactating. Also, I dont think i have any open wounds on my tongue, mouth or fingers, even though i cannot be sure whether there were any microscopic ones.

Am i at risk of HIV or any STIs from licking her nipples and touching her/ her touching me? Please advise as I am quite worried. Is it necessary for me to go for a screening?

Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry to bother you guys again but...

An expert second opinion from another health forum on my case is:

"For adults breast-milk HIV transmission remains only a hypothetical risk. That risk would be dependent on the amount of virus in the infected milk, quantity ingested, presence of cuts or sores on the oral mucous membranes, etc.

Overall the risk of an adult contracting HIV from nipple noshing would be extremely low.

I am extremely sorry for my delayed response. I also want to add that, the chance of getting is not ignorable."

His advice, particularly the last line worries me. Is it really not ignorable?

I was saying the no risk for the mutual masterbation because you said I was touching her and she was touching me, I just assumed. No risk from what you stated would put you at risk for HIV.

Hi

I have some questions again. Is it ridiculous for me to worry about HIV risks in my scenario? Initially I felt calm after reading the replies given, however slight pain when pressed under my armpit and and back of neck made me worried again. Are these signs of swollen lymph nodes?? I keep trying to convince myself it isn't as there isn't obvious lumps in those areas, like on google images. Please advise.

Really sorry for the trouble.

You don't need testing.

Hi

Thanks for the prompt replies! May I presume that no screening is necessary for my particular scenario?

Ps: we didn't mutual masterbate, merely touched, and licked.

Hi

I cant help noticing that you didn't touch on the vaginal fluids/semen/saliva part. Am I at risk if there were say some remaining traces of the above mentioned bodily fluids on her nipples when I licked them?

Thank you!

nothing that you are describing put you at risk for contracting hiv.

hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

licking nipples is not a risk...lactating or not.  adults do not get hiv from breast milk
