HIV Protected sex possible exposure?

Hello, it s me again. Yesterday I had vaginal intercourse for the first time in 8 months with my current partner I am a female. We used a condom, the condom seemed a little to tight on him. We had intercourse for about 10 minutes, he then finished and I checked the condom and it seemed to be intact. I pulled it off of him and tryed to see if it had any holes, but did not observe any. Is there a possibility of a condom failure without us noticing ? I have read here on med help that using a condom, protects you from hiv or std’s; is it recomendéd for me to test anyway ? I checked the condom and it was wet, he stated that those were my fluids; It didn’t seem like it was broken at all. But I read online that if the condom is tight there could be microscopic tears?

Glad you used a condom which protected you against HIV and STD's.  Safe sex is smart sex.  The only ways adults get HIV is from Unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing of IV drug needles.  So, you didn't have any risk.

Thankyou for your response. Is there such thing as condom failure without noticing ? Or should I be confident since I didn’t see any breakage, that the condom did protect me ?
you would have definitely noticed. there is also no such thing as micro holes or tears. i would no recommend you test for a HIV since you did not have an exposure. this section is only for HIV, not other std/stis, there is a different section for that.
Thankyou so much for responding to my question I feel much more calm now Thankyou.
