HIV risk from Fleshlight

Hi, so im a little worried since I’m super cautious about hooking up with people. But yesterday I was traveling and was on sniffies and found a guy that wanted to jerk off with me. So we met up, this guy was obviously a drug user so I was pretty nervous and unsure on how to leave. He claimed he was disease free so I was like ok well we’re just gonna jerk anyway. He had the idea of jerking with gloves on because of how it feels, I agreed to jerk each other with gloves since it seemed safe too. He then took out one of those electric fleshlights, he got my **** and put it in without me noticing at first. Well he first told me to put lube and jerk myself, as I did that I closed my eyes and next thing you know the flesh light was on my penis. It felt really good and I let him keep it for about a minute. Then I got super nervous and told him I had to go. Now I’m freaking out if there is a risk I may have contracted hiv from using his flashlight. He said he had recently bought it and only used it once. But still I’m super nervous I may have been exposed. What are the risks for hiv from a fleshlight? It wasn’t used by him until after he took it off mine then he put it on his penis. I read that HIV dies pretty quick in the air, so if he was to have used it before we met up would hiv still be on it? Sorry I’m probably just overreacting

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.

Nothing else you can think of, including the situation you described, would put you at risk for HIV.  You CANNOT get HIV from fluid on objects.

Thank you! Gives me a bit of a peace of mind. I’m just uneducated on hiv and get nervous anytime i hookup or do something sexual. I will still get tested for STDs in two weeks.
