HIV symptoms - driving me insane

Dear Doctor,

I need your advice.

In last 6 months I have been having real bad flare-ups of seborrhea dermatitis. I have always had it, but this time, they are not going away and they are extreme. I get tingling and itching inside my nose, my scalp has sores, my face is itchy and tingly. I have also been having body aches. Random parts and points of my body hurt briefly.

At night, when laying down, I get congestion, which is very weird, because it clears once I wake up and get up from bed. I have noticed myself having hot flashes, while let's say sitting at work and out of nowhere I will have a hot flash.

This all started after I had a terrible "flu" in early September of last year (still hot outside).

Oh yeah, and the last thing that is really scaring me is I lost about 15 pounds, first I started dieting and working out a lot (since Sept.), but now I am back eating high calorie meals, drinking pop and beer and I seem not able to put one pound on.

I am too scared to go get tested, but I took a full blood work test including a liver function test and it came back completely normal, even though 3 weeks before that test, I had a liver function test that showed my liver enzymes were through the roof (but I was taking tylenol, acyclovir and was drinking heavily at the party).

I know bloodwork doesn't mean anything in HIV infections and that only a test can show, but I am too scared to go.

I cannot take this anymore.

Why do you think I am playing games?

I am just a confused individual who is very scared. I know I might not have it, I just need advice, I am very weak mentally.

Do you think it is normal what is happening to me? (Weight Loss, real bad seborrhea, congestion, body pains).

What would you advise Teak, I did not mean to waste anyones time.

I could really benefit from your advice, it a great thing you took time to respond to me, I really appreciate it.

My risk was an ex-gf. I do not know much about her. She slept with 2 of my friends. Once we had sex and ran out of condoms, she said she can't have sex with me and that she had HPV. I found it really strange because condoms don't protect against HPV.

This was 1.3 years ago.

So my risk would be eating her out without protection and recently brushing my teeth.

I also forgot to mention the following:

Just recently everyone in my house had a real bad flu (5 people) and everyone was down.    I was the only person who did not have a single symptom, which I found really strange.

I also have an HSV1 infection on my lips and nose and I have had 1 break out in 6 months.

My liver also seems to be hurting...

Then no one will be able to help you if you won't help yourself. What was your risk since you elected not to put it in the above story?
