hiv through saliva?

Hello,

I am a bit sacred. I went to a store to return something, and the woman behind the counter looked like she had HIV, with all kinds of muscle wasting. I handed her my phone to look at the receipt on the phone, and then she handed it back to me. Then suddenly I noticed I had a small cut on top of my middle finger. while I was showing her phone, she was speaking to me. I wonder if any if her spit got on my fingure; I could see no blood. But two days later i got really ill, and a week later I  began to itch all over the body. I am positive she had HIV. Should I get tested? I cannot explain this itch all over me. There is no other reason for it. And I got flue like symptoms. Can one get HIV from saliva falling on a cut?

In an adult, only unprotected anal or vaginal sex and sharing IV drug needles with infected users are risks for HIV infection. Noting else, including what you've described, would be able to result in HIV.

Also, people with HIV don't "look" any particular type of way. With the major advancements in HIV treatments, there are plenty of HIV positive people walking around who don't look any different from anyone else. And people who look sickly are most likely suffering from any number of different problems, none of which have anything to do with HIV.

thanks. I dont know how explain these mysterious symptoms. I also feel like i have fever.
Go see a doctor if you're not feeling well, but it's definitely NOT HIV because you can't get it that way. It's literally not scientifically possible.
