I'm so confused, please help.

Hey, I am a 21 year old gay man.  In late Oct. or early November I was involed with an unprotected activity.  Since then I was diagnoised with HPV (genital warts).  The doctor did not give me much information about it but said it was only one wart.  The wart seems to be slightly going away.  :(... Anyways, I became so upset and depressed because my ex boyfriend confessed that he loves me and I love him and I want us to work out.  I do not want to tell him I have HPV because I too scared.  Since then my armpits have been aching and my right lymph node in my groin has been slightly swollen. The doctor then said I had nothing to worry about it this is normal with young adults.  I got tested for HIV on FEB. 23rd and it came back negative.  I also got tested for all other STD's when I was diagnoised with HPV, they told me everything came back normal and my white blood cells were in the range they were supposed to be.  I am really confusses? Could I still have HIV? or could this be Herpes?  I just want some answers and they are not giving it to me.
