HIV test ability
How reliable is a 4 week and 13 week HIV rapid immunochromatography sample serum test by this time post exposure
My test reads HIV 1&2 AB NONREACTIVE both the time does this test really detects antibodies for HIV 2 as well and both the time blood was drawn from my vein about three to five ml and taken to laboratory under 40 degree centigrate in INDIAN HEAT does this makes any difference in killing antibodies in heat .. My exposure protected vaginal and unprotected blow job given by 4 different CSW In one week in Thailand . My problem is recurring pharyngitis it's been almost 8 months now my anxiety is growing day by day do I take one more test at 8 month mark or 100 % no needed. Please answer HIV 2 AB query for sure.. Which will help most posters here.

Yes,an antibody test looks for both HIV 1 & HIV 2 and is fully conclusive at 3 Months.

Use condoms correctly and consistently for penetrative anal or vaginal sex and don't share works with other IV drug abusers and you won't have a worry.
It may be not a death sentence but mate we need a vaccine soon not just ARV' for POz people. If it's not so dangerous there wont be so many posters here neither YOU have to answer every one 24/7. We want Complete freeed om for it not just ARV's....

I DON'T TO WANT TO PUT MY WIFE AT ANY RISK SHE KNOWS ABOUT MY RECENT MISS DEEDS AS EXPOSURES WITH CSW STILL SHE'S SUPPORTING ME CAN I HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITH HER she' already coughing past 7 days i did not even had unprotected sex with her even once since eight months why is that? 3 Months is 100% conclusive and final,you don't have HIV.You can relax now and stop worrying.6 Months is outdated.Also,you never had a risk to begin with.
As you guys know i m a very anxious guy. I am a body builder my weight is 220lbs & 180cm. in height. I workout since last 10 years. As you say oral sex is not an exposure to HIV. For God's Grace you guys should be 100% right about it because nobody wants to get this killing virus.
Now still due to my anxiety I want to Laboratory where they did my HIV Rapid test at 1 month & 3 months post exposure resulting into Non-Reactive. So according your doctors & moderators at Med Help I m conclusive Negative & don't even needed any testing. The problem is Teak & RL71 i have this persistent throat problem burning sensation in upper respiratory tract since last 8 months of my exposure, which is not healing 100% & moreover due to this my blood pressure despite of taking medicine for it doesn't comes down it stays between 150-160 & 90-100. Now this thing is killing me this anxiety of HIV. I cant concentrate on anything even if I divert my mind I still come back here the next day. I talked to the lab doctor there & told him about exposure & tests. I asked him whether they are as good as ELISA AB test he said slightly less & said some people do develop detectable AB's between 3 - 6 months . To conclusively rule out infection he told me take a test now & take ELISA. But he assured me your symptoms are not indicating HIV . He also said u need a test now to rule out that 1% doubt. He said 3 months is not surely conlusive your test now will be 100% conclusive. He said there is just 1% chance but do take test to get this anxiety behind you forever .

the question which asked by mr. Krish799 are some of the people wants to know about hiv 2.
Because there can be hiv 2 because, we dont know the men or womem had sex with any african return in india. So I feel his question is valid. Is hiv 2 testing 3 month valid

Atleast tell me this as it reads hiv 1&2 AB neg. so it should detect AB for hiv2 as well? Plz van plz u will cure my anxiety forever if I was so knowledgeable like u would have definitely answer the poster to kill his anxiety ?

I hope u meant hiv2 is in congo rurals but does rapid test detects AB for it or plain and simple just answer me this plz mate so I can put all my illogical HIV 2 fears once and for all.. Answer this thinking my exposure was with a Congo sex worker an thal also unprotected vaginal and anal

You did not have a risk. That is in general. No testing is going to matter if you don't believe you did not have a risk.

Thanks van but does this test detects HIV 2 antibodies? Plz answer in general and does heat makes any difference in test result because technician drew my blood put in a test tube and went 7 miles to lab on his bike plz answer just for my curiosity.
