65 days is an EXCELLENT indication of your status...but follow up with a test at 3 months for a conclusive result.
Thank you lizzie, i've been living a nightmare the last months. I am having tonsilities and it's been for 3 weeks. Everyone told me that it's not a symptom of HIV. I would do the second test when i finish exams .. Thank you a lot

All one can say, its a very good indication, but do get a conclusive test at 3 months.
Good morning ,
I contacted my doctor today and he said that i don't need to retest again . He changed my mood a lot and made me happy . As i read on the world aids day website, they said that the saying that we have to wait 3 months from the exposure to have an accurate HIV test is no longer accurate , it's just an old thing.
WRONG. There are no tests marketed or sold that will give a conclusive test result earlier than 3 months.
The old advice of needing to wait three months for a HIV test is no longer accurate and knowledge about the signs of possible HIV infection have also improved.
You can check it on this link :
The need for a repeat HIV test if still within the window period after a specific exposure should be discussed. Although fourth generation tests shorten the time from exposure to seroconversion a repeat test at three months is still recommended to definitively exclude HIV infection.
Hello lizzie , i just made the test today and i got my results that were negative thanks god. I am so happy and thanks for your time you and all the members who helped me .. Thanks a lot
