negative at 14 weeks but symptoms

one day i had sex with a CSW. it was protected all the way. there was one thing that  got me worried which is one day  i had shaved my pubic area and i had cuts there. her fluids touched that area.  fews weeks late i had fever, swollen neck nodes, hives e.t.c this got m so worked up i think i contracted hiv from the encounter. todayi got tested with an alere determine hiv 1/2 test at 14 weeks. it was negative but the neck nodes are still swollen up to now, fever, rash over arms and back. what do u guys say about this

just pop in to tell that i got tested for the final time at 222 days( 7 months and 12 days) and it was negative.

thanx all of u forur timrwit me here. today i got my 25 weeks 1 day post exposure negative rapid test. thanx god and thanx all, though i am still sickt better to know that it is not hiv. thanx

Your test is conclusive--it is highly accurate & there is no such window period as 6 or 9 months--I don't know what sites you are reading from but they are wrong.You have a reliable,conclusive result,I suggest you accept it.The test detects all subtypes aswell.

it is not that iam pushy please understand me. iam in a very stressful situation. do u know anything about the test i had i mean in terms of generation ? how soon can it detect infection and when can it be absolute certain that one is negative? what people should test to six and nine months? can it detect all strains of hiv imean all subtypes of hiv 1? what other illness can cause hiv like symptoms?
please please answer all my questions. i think their answers will help me calm my mind.
i asked those questions bacause there is too much information on the net which  confuses people a lot.

and what about rapid test i had at 14 weeks. how accurate is it?  my  doctor say rapid tests can not detect recent infections. what

Well it depends on the amount but in general yes it's instant.The virus starts to become damaged as soon as it leaves it's host.
