HIV testing and risk
I have been paranoid for a while thinking of my past.I was sexually active last year(last exposure 9 months back) and had protective sex with 8 prostitutes. I had taken 2 Elisa test and 2 HIV DUO test and one rapid test this year (last DUO and Rapid test yesterday) all of them were negative. I had taken these tests in Bangalore, I am little worried if these test were reliable as i have very little idea on the sensitivity and reliability of the testing centres.
Do all the test happens through automated systems and the chances of manual errors are less... because i have known cases where in deceases like Malaria were not detected in labs.. what are the chances a hiv infection is not diagonised.
