Hi there.
You are 100% HIV Negative from the above episode buddy! :)
78 days is 11 week not 10 week
Jackster.
With all respect, can I suggest that you are mindful of what you quote, - some of it is out of date and other bits are just going to scare people for no reason.
I think it's great that you are trying to help people but I would suggest that you don't until you have the knowledge to do so.
Best Wishes
Hi There,
I wish people would be careful what information they share!!
The tests you have had are FULLY CONCLUSIVE - you DO NOT require any more HIV tests.
Even the FDA, which is a vey Conservative organisation, now accept a Negative 4th Gen Duo test at 28 Days does not require further testing!
Ignore the if's / but's that people spout, ignore talk of cancer etc, - some people are asking advice on here then giving advice when they do not have the correct information.
You are truly HIV Negative from the above exposure.
Best Regards.
Highly unlikely to change. Only people who are immuno-compromised( Cancer, on Chemo or immuno suppressant therapy ) could take longer than 3 months and that is a very small percentage. Your 10 week duo test is 99 % accurate. If your still concerned, an antibody test at the 13 week mark would be conclusive. All the best.
Thanks for your valuabe reply i wanna ask you that is it possible or ever happend change in result after 11 weeks ? I got balanitis and oral thrush after 2 days of that event and body pain which still persist.
It seems that after testing out to over 10 weeks negative that you should be fine. If you are still worried, you can get a conclusive result at 3 months post exposure. But i am confident that your result will not change. Use this as a learned lesson. All the best.
