Help 11 weeks after exposure

Hi All,
On june 21 i went to TJ and condom slipped of while having veginal sex with pro. Started pep after 60 hrs of exposure. Completed 4 weeks of course which was very difficult. Now i am on (15 week after exposure) 11 week after the last dose of my pep pill. i am waiting for 13 weeks to get first and conclusive test result. i was feeling fine but from last almost 6 day i started having very bad sore throat it is not getting over and i don't have any running nose or any cold symptoms. its just bad sore throat with bit pain in neck with weakness and bit nausia. I am very very worried again is this a bignning of ars?? which type of test should i get after 2 week to get my first and conclusive result. i am very very scared please help

* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusive negative results or a no-risk situation will be based up the criteria MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:

Hi Teak thanks for your response.

I went to doctor and she took a swab culture to check if i have a flu which came out to be -ve she still gave me flu medicine. I have high fever 102 which came down to 99 after taking advil. she said i dont have swallen lymph node. i am having sore throat bad cough and all symptoms of ars. do ars symptoms come so late (after 6 months from last pep pill) should i get hive test again i got it -ve when i took it 13 weeks after last pep pill thanks eddy

See your doctor. It's not an HIV concern.

Hi,
I took back results (for 13 weeks after my last PEP pill) it came out -ve i was back to normal life.

Yesterday after lunch i started having sore throat bad cough, then chills and then high fever (101) all of sudden. I looked back and its exactly 6 months after my last pep pill. Just want to know do you think it sars ??

i am in San Diego US, the guy at reception said we have to get you result i will give you a appointment (he said how about tuesday) but then i took it on sat :'(

In what area did you see the pro? what country? and did you book the appointment your self or they booked it for you?

I finally went back to get my results (its 2 week from my blood taken for test) they said results are not in yet and schedule an appointment for sat(15) now i am more scared and going crazy...dose my symptoms sounds like ars...although today i am feeling completely well after 4 weeks that thing scares me more

You need to help yourself and go pickup the test results.

yes it is after 13 week my last dose of PEP but i never went back for results

Its been almost a month from time i started feeling very unwell. i have been having bad sore throat for a month which is now feels like something got stuck in my throat. i have been having fewer 99F for last many evenings and i feel really tired and unwell. 2 weeks ago i went to get blood test for hiv and from then i never got courage to go back to face my test result. do sore throat fro ars go so long..i have been feeling pain in my neck too now and is it possible having ars symptome coming up so late??
