Hiv Testing help!

Hello. I had unprotected sex with a ex of mine. First time was about 6 weeks ago and again about two weeks ago. I was wondering when can I get tested for hiv? Can I get tested after my first exposure with him at 6 weeks or do I have to start over from 2 weeks ago? Im a 20 yr old female in college. He's 21 and says that he doesnt have anything. I got checked before for hiv 3 months after we had broke up and it was negative but I know after we broke up he slept with other girls.

Unfortunately unprotected sex always carries risks as you don't know where your partner has been, especially if he has been sleeping with other girls whose sexual histories are unknown.  Overall it's a very low risk but get tested after 6-8 weeks after your last hookup.

Test at 28 days post your last exposure with a 4th Genration Duo test for a conclusive result.

It sounds like you have both been responsible, it is also hard for a man to contract to your test is just a formality, I totally expect it to come back Negative,

Best Wishes
