Vaginal Candida and HIV
Hi to all,
Is there any relation with vaginal Candida and HIV ? I have a grilfriend and we are newly together, after a month she had yeast problem and we had many times unprotected intercourse , even though I don't have any problem( or may be just no symptoms)
She cured the yeast and it's okay now but I'm worried if there is something to check with HIV ?

Women get yeast infections and it doesn't have anything to do with HIV. There's a variety of things that lead to it. Why do you suspect HIV with a person you are dating? Since you are in a new relationship, you 'could' suggest you BOTH have HIV tests to share with one another. But the fact that she had a yeast infection, that's no reason to suspect she is HIV positive.
