Doing "research" on the internet about a topic you're not knowledgeable about is NEVER a good idea.
Your tests are conclusive, you don't have HIV, you don't have to worry about elusive sub-types and such...that's anxiety talking.
Dear teak
First of all i really appreciate ur unconditional effort here
I dont really want to bother u but there is sth i wish to mention
I have had mild fever which comes and goes for one month without any other symptoms
How r u so sure that elisa test can cover all groups? As i have studied on the internet that group o is not covered bu all test
Regards
Your test are conclusive, either would have picked up Group O.
Dear ran1234
First i'd like to thank u for paying attention to my question
6months ago i met a 37 year old man nd we decided to get to know each other more
When we wanted to make love for the first time he claimed that he was hiv negative nd he refused to use condum
We were together 8times(unprotected anal)
Then i understood he was a real devil nd he lied to me about every thing
I broke up with him and i took these tests:
After 2months from last exposure:hiv 1and2 antibody nd p24:negative/pcr:negative
After 3months:hiv 1and 2antibody(ecl method) nd p24: negative
After 4months and a half:hiv 1and 2antibody: negative
Now these r my concerns:
I saw his pictures on facebook.he has been to south america and north africa nd many other european, american nd asian countries. Due to his careless life style im really concerned about infection with group o.
I took my tests in Iran nd im not sure whether group o is included in hiv tests in iran or not but i am going to dubai nd england next year
That is why i am looking for a test which can cover group o
Nd i got herpes from him although there were no visible cold sore or blister on his penis
What was your exposure. .??
