Hello,
i had a sexual exposure roughly 6 weeks ago with a girl of unknown HIV status. She was a girlfriend at the time, but had lived in africa and had since been found to sleep around... alot.
Following this exposure at roughly the 4 week mark i developed cold/flu like symptoms, fever, runny nose, general feeling of extreme tiredness etc. My neck lymph nodes were very swolen. There is a possible rash on my back, but it would only be in that area, i have bad back achne problems due to long term weight training and protein intake, so it is very hard to tell.
I had a antibody test at roughly the 5 week mark which was returned negative
I have since been suffering extreme unusual pain and fatigure in my muscles, i am unaware of the cause, particularly in my arms. It honestly feels like my muscles are sore, but they really do have no reason to feel this way, it is very unusual.
I'm concerned, as clearly i am posting on this forum, i have read through the many explanations of my actual risk factors being low (particularly by the doctors rather amusing statistical comparisons), but the excessive muscle soreness is clearly getting too me.
Any advise would be appreciated, regards.
