I am having ARS like symptoms, why do u guys tell me not to worry?

1. flu/fever
2. for the past 2 days, just mainly been sleeping.
3. pain in abdomen
4. no appetite, not too much energy
5. coughing (dry at first, became wet)
6. yellowy phlegm
7. sweating while sleeping and woken up by it at times
8 some diarrhea / indigestion\
9. nausea

You guys tell me to GO HOME it's not a HIV concern because I had "protected" sex?
It just seems ****** up to me that I am experiencing these symptoms 1.5 weeks after my
encounter with the sex worker. I am VERY sure that the condom did not break (but can i be 100% sure?)

You guys say that I am suffering from anxiety..but last i checked...ANXIETY doesn't give you flu like symptoms..or in other words, viral infection. Viral infection comes from somewhere..it needs an agent and anxiety isn't enough.

I really know you guys are trying to help but can I get some more convincing answers other than "not HIV concern go to anxiety forum?"

Flu symptoms can be mild or severe — and if they’re mild can become severe without much notice. Be aware of your body and monitor your body temperature. Flu symptoms can come on suddenly — be sure you know your treatment and prevention options so you can be prepared.

The common symptoms of the flu include:

Fever (usually high)
Headache
Muscle aches
Chills
Extreme tiredness
Dry cough
Runny nose may also occur but is more common in children than adults
Stomach symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, may also occur but are more common in children than adults

this sounds more like your case here

well he examined me and said it was a pulled muscle. I think he said there were no lymphnodes there. I mean at the back not along the neck from the shoulder.

i had almost all of these symptoms 2 years ago while on a trip in south america. I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with bronchitis. After reading an article on acute HIV symptoms i promptly went and got tested, These results will be in on thursday hopefully.

All the symptoms you speak of can be related to other illnesses. Such as bronchitis or Pneumonia or the flu. It is said That Rash, Fever, and Multiple swollen gland areas are characteristics of an acute hiv infection.  It is also said that there is an incubation period of 2 weeks. My symptoms fell well before that time and were over before that time had elapsed aswell.

Regardless of what everyone says, why not go get tested? Its fast and should be free. I feel what you are saying and you have my prayers. And i know exactly what you are going through.
