I am very scared?!?!?!

I am extremely scared! A month ago I had unprotected oral sex with a man. I  did swallow. I had no sexual contact ever before that. 3 weeks after that I had on and off diarrhea for a week. I also had alot of stress during that time and a few days prior to the diarrhea. Other than that I have had my allergy symptoms that I normally get during this time of year. The diarrhea completely cleared up after a week of destressing and activia. I am just really worried that I might have made a decision that has screwed up my entire life. I really need to know what to do. Please help me I am so afraid. I really only tried this with a guy to find out for sure my orientation and now I am sure i am straight. I am so scared!

thank you all so much! you really helped me calm down, i was so afraid that one stupid decision was going to ruin my life. this whole experience has completely changed my outlook on life, i value all that i have and see the stupidity in arguments and anger and instead spend my time appreciating and loving everyone around me. i also now slightly understand the struggles of those with hiv or waiting to receive test results. i have decided that i am going to volunteer to help those in need of support and also contribute to organizations searching for a cure. i guess this bad experience has turned out to have a silver lining. once again thank you!

you did NOT have a risk..
unprotected oral sex with/without swallowing is not a risk for transmission
your health concerns is not due to hiv..
the alimentary tract has got many enzymes which will deactivate the virus if present..
so you dont need to worry and dont require a hiv test

Stay Calm, Do you know his status?,even theoretically he has it, the chances of you getting it is slim , 1 in 10,000 from studies. take an initial test at 6 weeks, and again at 3 months. Anxiety Sucks, I know. Just stay calm, keep yourself busy until then.
