I'm from India and here people spit here and there. Today while I was eating in a small stole a person came near me and spitted on the ground it was dark so i couldn't see but the majority of spit falles on the ground. Now I'm getting anxious what if small amount of spit landed on my food and I have eaten it immediately. Can i get hiv like this. Please help

This is not a risk. Even if the guy had HIV, which is highly unlikely in itself, even then if he spit directly into your food, it is not a risk. Saliva is not infections and does not spread the virus.

Furthermore, infection with HIV can only occur inside the body, such as through unprotected anal or vaginal sex and through sharing IV drug needles with infected users.

Also please be patient with waiting for a response. It's a holiday weekend in the United States this weekend and this is a volunteer forum where people answer questions in their spare time. It's most likely going to take a while for people to reply to questions this weekend.
