It seems that your exposure was brief, and being the insertive partner lowers your risk as well. Third, as I said previously, your test result is all but final. Try not to stress too much, the test you took is VERY sensitive and most likely would have identified a new infection at 15 days. If I was you I would not be losing any sleep at this point.
hI thanks for ur help, how many percentage of safer side am? i am really worried and cant sleep, eat becz of this issue.. I have tested 15days after expousre HIV (Chemiluminescence- Ag/Ab
Combo) its was 0.8 negative so please let me know how much safe i am.
HI Ruby,
while entering my penis condom broke i felt my penis may had enter in his *** for 2 secounds but not full penis...
i had hiv ag/ab combo test after 15days it was negative but am still worried...
DUO tests begin identifying the majority of newly acquired HIV infection between 14-18 days post exposure. You're negative result is very reassuring. Second, most people don't lie when asked their status directly. I would try not to worry unnecessarily and would full expect a negative result when you test for the final time in two more weeks. Cheers.
As Ruby stated you are at risk. However the odds are in your favour with the risk at something like 1:600. Try educating yourself in correct condom technique and you can get extra durable ones for anal sex. Also use plenty of lubricant as the anus does not produce a natural lubricant like the vagina
If the condom broke, you had UNPROTECTED sex regardless of how long it lasted.
The test you took is probably accurate but it is NOT conclusive. Test again at 4 weeks post exposure with a 4th generation DUO which WILL be conclusive.
