Good day doctor. I had unprotected sex with a girl about 3weeks ago. I was so worried and scared that I asked her to get tested the next day and it came out Negative. Though she had sex with a guy and it was protected. Despite her negative result, I still feel worried.
If you had unprotected sex, the only way you can be sure about your HIV status is to wait for the 28th day after your exposure, and go for a duo combo ag/ab test. The result will be accurate. In the future, use condom every single time you have sex.
