Don't know if I'm suffering hiv Symptoms

Hi

I had sex with a sex worker in Thailand on the 30 Of June, I paid around £120 for the sex. We started off by using a condom then she asked if I'd like to take it off I stupidly agreed, I was drunk but still never drunk enough to use that excuse! The unprocted sex lasted a few minutes we then stopped, I didn't ejaculate. We then had sex again, same thing happened started with a condom then took it off, had unprotected sex for around 10 Minutes, I ejaculated but not inside her. All the sex was done in the position of us both laying on our sides with me behind.
7 days later whilst still in Thailand I got a weird feeling in my mouth, very dry and could see little flesh coloured lumps on the back of my tongue. I instantly thought it was from being dehydrated because at home after any night of drinking I wake up with very dry mouth full of Canker sores, I then went to google and Diagnosed myself with oral thrush just because my tongue had change colour slightly, then I see oral thrush is linked with hiv. Then my anxiety went into full on mode! Since that night I spent 3 days in the room in bed worrying and checking my body for all different things. In that time everyone on our trip was ill, we all had Diarrhea and other stuff. I thought I was ill but then I knew keep down it was my anxiety making me ill, I couldn't cope anymore so decided to catch a flight home early not long after booking the flight I was laying in bed and my hand found a rash on my leg, left leg top of thigh but back of leg just under my bum. It was a small rash had around 20 little red spots, looked a bit like a shaving rash. Non itchy and no pain. I've since returned home, I'm racked with guilt and anxiety. I can't sleep much, I haven't eaten in around 3 days and I've now had very watery Diarrhea for about 4-5 days now. I feel so dehydrated but don't feel thirsty, I'm waiting for my local sex clinic to open to go speak to them but I've read of a lot of good things on this site and wanted someone's input on what's going on with me. Does it sound like I have hiv symptoms or has my anxiety won over? Don't know if I'm generally just a bit unwell after a holiday in Asia or if I've caught hiv?! Going crazy here, any advice or input would be great. I will be getting tested for hiv 100%.

Got my 6 week test back and it was all clear. Can't stress enough that if you're suffering like I did please calm down and don't think the worst because it will be ok, anxiety is a ***** and it will make you think you have something you don't actually have!

Just like diver mentioned, try to get a 4th gen hiv test at least 28 days after that incident, being one time exposure mayb the risk of infection is low.
Go for the test and hope u get a clean health of bill return.
Stay safe in the future always use condom.

You certainly did not do the wise act by intentionally converting a protected sex  to otherwise. However, having said that, risk may not be very significant, though not zero either. Your exposure does exist.

Since health status of the CSW is unknown, the only way to exclude yourself from the possibility of the infection is a test. You need to wait 28 days after the exposure, get yourself tested for 4th generation HIV Duo test, collect the conclusive test report and move on with your life.

Never try to judge your infection from symptoms. Reason is, symptoms are always confusing and misleading. Relax and calm down and wait for the window period to complete.

Nest time, keep alcohol away while you are with a woman, they do not mix well.

Thanks for the reply. Got to try and stay off them dreaded websites which give me 100's of different thoughts. One last thing if you don't mind..
You said in your reply that my risk may not be very significant, what makes you say this?

Many Thanks
There are many odds in your favor. Not everyone necessarily contracts HIV in an act of unprotected sex with an HIV+ partner. The risk intensity reduces when it comes to a partner with unknown status, because there is a very strong possibility that he/she may not be infected and one cannot give something he/she does not have.

However, having said that, risk does exist when we get involve in unprotected penetration, because we expose ourselves to someone, whose health status is not known to us
