I touched dry blood

It first started off with my sisters friend camping over at my place, long story short I stole a used thong from her backpack when she wasn't at my place and and smelled her thong while I was in the bedroom where the lights were shut off. As I turned on the light to see what color her thong was I noticed dry blood on the crotch part of her thong!. I am worried now that I contracted hep c or something because she is known for sleeping around and using drugs. I also had a couple of scratches on my fingers that were still open so now I am worried that her dry blood on her thong touched my open cuts and now I have hep c. Please help what should I do??should I go for a hep c test or am I just having a serious case of ocd.

Thanks for replying to my weird creepy post but I was worried big time!. The thing that scares me though is I heard that hep c can last on surfaces for almost up to 4 days even when its dry!!. Can you confirm or deny that??? please reply. And I already thew her thong away after I fond out it had blood on it =(.

Yes, you are having a serious case of OCD. Dried blood/bodily fluids are not infectious and are completely incapable of transmitting HIV or Hep C. You had ZERO risk from this scenario and absolutely no need to test whatsoever. You are overreacting in a very big way. Nothing you did placed you at risk. Relax! And give your sister's friend her thong back. ;)
