Infection via nose?

Usually, I would not let this bother me. However, it has been on my mind for sometime now. I was out shopping (the mall was very crowded) and I touched a hanger. Without thinking, I sort of "picked my nose" and felt something wet(my finger was NOT wet before i entered the store). I sort of freaked out because I remember learning that HIV can be transmitted nasally. It literally only got on the lower part of my inside nose. It did not go "far in" (maybe only a millimeter, bare with me, i am not good with measurements!)

1. Is there any truth to this?
2. Do I need a test?
3. Has anyone been infected like this? assuming it was fresh positive blood?

I agree with RainLover71. You really have no worries. HIV is not spread through ordinary objects and as the virus it can not survive outside its host.

No risk, at all???? Isn't the nose a mucus membrane? I do not mean to be a nuisance but I am so concerned!
