Is there a HIV that can go undetected by blood test?

Does anybody know if there is a HIV that can go undetected by blood test?

The answer is NO--all strains are detected.

That being said, the advances in HIV diagnoses and treatment have come a very long way since the 80s and there is no reason to believe that a blood test would not pick up the antibodies if they are present. To believe otherwise is an irrational fear that needs to be addressed by a mental health professional, not an infectious disease specialist.
