The same way as those with HIV are, with liposome drugs . People with HIV that are on HAART medications rarely get KS. That's why you rarely here about KS now a days.

It is uncommon, but possible. In general there aren't any physical symptoms HIV+ people get that HIV- people can't get. It's that certain problems are more common in people with HIV/AIDS.
so wud immunocompetant people not get any KS lesions at all if they do NOT have HIV?
KSHV is usually controlled without a problem by immunocompetent people. HAART doesn't always completely restore the immune function.
