KS in HIV negative people?

is someone who's HIV negative gets the virus that causes kaposi's sarcoma, what can happen to them usually?

also, what would happen if an HIV negative person started HAART therapy?

The same way as those with HIV are, with liposome drugs . People with HIV that are on HAART medications rarely get KS. That's why you rarely here about KS now a days.

How have those people with KS but not HIV positive been medically treated?

Chris, what did you mean by that statement.

However, I have in my practice, and other KS doctors have in their practices, folks with KS who are neither elderly nor HIV- positive.

It is uncommon, but possible.  In general there aren't any physical symptoms HIV+ people get that HIV- people can't get.  It's that certain problems are more common in people with HIV/AIDS.

so wud immunocompetant people not get any KS lesions at all if they do NOT have HIV?

KSHV is usually controlled without a problem by immunocompetent people.  HAART doesn't always completely restore the immune function.
