Do HIV DUO(HIV 1/2 antigen and antibodies) also known as 'Fourth generation Elisa ' in 6- 8 weeks after the exposure .

Please stop diagnosing yourself coz it's pointless. HIV has no specific symptoms. Take the 6-8 weeks test for great indication of your status then follow-up at 12 weeks for conclusive result.

Hi zaszas,

I understand the kind of anxiety that you are going through after a possible risky exposure. However, i personally feel you probably are just over-stressed from this incident, and that might be causing the strange feelings that you have been getting.

That being said, however,  even 1 minute of unprotected sex is a risk, and to be sure, you should go for a test at 3 months.

Wish you all the best, and take care.

May God bless
